Description

To play this game you'll need a basic understanding of addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. You have to assist customers by calculating the cost of their groceries, requiring you to apply different math operations with each transaction. This game is designed to help students understand how basic math concepts are not only essential but also directly applicable to everyday tasks and real-life situations.

Instructions

Step 1

At the opening screen, hit the play button to begin playing.

Step 2

Each customer will ask for assistance in order to make a purchase at your Little Store.

Step 3

Enter your answer based on the transaction the customer requires assistance with. You may need to use division, multiplication, subtraction, or addition to complete the calculation.

Step 4

After assisting customers with calculating their groceries, you will either receive payment for the items or be asked to subtract some items from their purchase if they don't have enough money.

Step 5

After successfully assisting a customer, you will continue helping other customers with their transactions.

Step 6

To end the game, you need to calculate the total cost of 7 customers' groceries.

Step 7

Enter all the answers and after a full day at your Little Store, it's time to close up. But if you'd like to play again, simply click on "Play Again" to start a new round.
